These are a big hit any time I make them, and they couldn’t be easier!
I’m not going to make a lengthy post about my life and what I’m doing today and blah blah blah. Just here is the basic recipe for making the cookies and feel free to add in any mix ins like chocolate or vanilla chips, food coloring, nuts, candies, sprinkles, or flavorings.
1 box of any cake mix, my favorite is the Devils food.
2 large eggs
1/2 cup of vegetable oil (do not use any other)
Mix the mixture until combined, stir in mix ins or leave as is.
Drop in tablespoon rounds into an ungreased cookie sheet. Note the Devils food mixture is more runny than the yellow cakes but that’s ok. They all flatten out and come out nice and circular after baked.
Bake at 350° for 9-10 minutes. The so seem soft to touch, leave them to sit for at least 2 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.
That’s it!
Here are some ideas:
Devils food & white chocolate chip
Yellow cake with extra vanilla extract and sprinkles
Butter cake with crushed oreos
Yellow cake with peanut butter mixed in and chocolate chips
Red velvet cake with vanilla chips
Vanilla cake with pistachios and pistachio pudding mixed in
The options are endless!
