It’s back! The Rain, Rain Go Away Giveaway Hop and I am excited to have 2 Medieval Times in Lyndhurst NJ tickets to give away to my readers. Win 2 passes to go to any show of your choosing – and what a great time for this to be going on, Spring Break is right around the corner!
Last year we visited Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament and what a BLAST we had! That is why we just had to go back and catch another show. They really make you feel like you’ve taken a time machine back a few centuries and it feels so cool to be in an alternate reality, routing for your house color and knight. Did I mention the food is GREAT?
No matter which seat your assigned, every seat in the house has a good view, and the hype in the room will leave all kids and adults smiling from ear to ear.
This show we were in the red knight section. The seats were great, so close to the queen!
This is the second time I’ve gone and both times my Knight lost. It’s ok though as it’s still an excited time to watch the final battle no matter who wins. I always find myself chanting the words from “the cable guy” movie “down, down, down, red knights going down!” Lol!
The horses are so beautiful and graceful. They get so much show time from doing tricks, too dancing and even during the fights. They’re such professionals though I think they actually believe they’re in the Medieval century in real battle. Haha! So cute.
I always eat the food so fast that I haven’t ever taken a full plate picture. The plates and “bowl” are metal which gives such a rustic fall and the cups are plastic. Beverages are included except if you want an alcoholic beverage or a kid’s slushy, you’ll pay extra.
Of course they have the “wenches” serve the food courses, so be sure to bring some bag for gratuity.
The food choices are the same every show except for the dessert. Last time we were there it was pound cake, this time it was vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzle.
Although out Knight didn’t win overall, rooting for the blue knight at the end was really fun.
My only critique is that it gets alittle confusing when they call the color sections and where to enter. I’f you miss hearing it over the loud crowd, you’ll be left searching the staircase fir your color and checking for others with the same crown.
This is an awesome place for an adults night out or a family night out, and that’s why I love it!
