I have dabbled with different essential oils and am a huge fan of tea tree oil to heal almost anything. So when I was asked to check these out, of course I agreed although I had never heard of Utama Spice company before.
They have so many products, it’s amazing! From organic bug sprays, to lotions, oils, shampoos, and chapsticks. Do yourself a favor and check out their store. They also do giveaways each month, and they’re pretty awesome packages you can win directly from their website.
The essential oils they sent I actually have never used. They are;
Cajeput (Melaleuca Cajuputi) – Use for cuts and scrapes, therapeutic massage, decongestant.
A slightly medicinal smelling oil that carries a fruity camphor aroma with hyacinth and herbaceous undertones. Properties include antimicrobial, astringent, analgesic, stimulant, and anti-inflammatory, and as a natural bug repellent.
Cajeput has great value in skin care and wound cleansing, stimulates the mind and assists with getting back into balance. Its antiseptic and expectorant properties make it excellent for respiratory tract infections such as colds, laryngitis, bronchitis and it may be helpful for asthma, as well as nasal and sinus congestion.
Pain relieving properties make it useful in massage for neuralgia, headaches, muscle stiffness and general aches and pains. The oil is also reputed to have insect repellent qualities and can be applied to sooth insect bites.
Orange (Citrus Cinensis) –Â Use as room deodorizer, decongestant, stress relief and stimulation.
A refreshing sweet citrus aroma that delivers a multitude of uses.
A widely used room deodorizer with uplifting effects. Can also help relieve the symptoms of colds and other respiratory ailments.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) –Â known to be a potent and powerful aid for digestive health.
Its strong licorice flavor and aroma is gained from the steam distillation from the crushed seeds of the plant
Clove (Eugenia Caryophyllus) –Â Use as massage oil for stress relief and aphrodisiac, pain relief, skin care.
A sweet warm scent and very intense flavor. Clove oil is known to provide potent antiseptic and anti-inflammatory benefits and is a preservative when used in all-natural products.
Clove can be applied topically to irritated skin, combined with Coconut or Argan oil to create an aromatherapy massage oil, or mixed in other products to enhance their benefits. Clove oil can be used with a diffuser to sooth respiratory illnesses, relieve stress and treat headaches.
All of their essential oil’s are 10ml. You can buy them in sets of 5 for $34.99 or single bottles at $14.99 AND they’re currently running a special, if you buy 5, you get a FREE Diffuser! How is that for getting a bargain?
Next up is the Yoga Mat Spray ($9.99 MSRP) comes in a 100ml bottle. There are 3 varieties to choose from but I was sent to Lavender which I love. It is such a relaxing fragrance. Although I am not a “yogi” I like to spray it around the house creating a calming environment.
“The missing link to achieve the perfect end to your practice. With just a few simple sprays you can sterilize your mat and bring on inner peace”
I also tested out the “Supa Dupa” Moon Flower incense and whoa are they nice and big! I hate getting incense and they burn so quick and done. These are huge! They burn very slow and are very aromatic. I was impressed by how long they were as well. They come in a really nice box too!
I got the 12 long sticks, which is $12.99 but they have a smaller option where you can get 6 for $6.99 as well.
Utama Spice’s natural incense sticks are all created using locally sourced spices and herbs. Lovingly hand rolled in Bali the incense is dipped in pure essential oil making these incense one of the most lovely smelling natural dupa sticks
“This long burning incense is a blend of flowers, barks, herbs, oils, nuts and spices using no synthetic or endangered plants. Wrapped in recycled paper. Handmade with Fair Trade and Tri Hita Karana principles.”
Lastly and most important, the Sonoma Yi Diffuser. This is the one I am GIVING AWAY to one of you lucky readers! You can pick up some oils for it in the Utama store or use any you currently have (although I have to say, that you SHOULD definitely check out some from Utima as they are high quality and so many to choose from).
Not only is it a Luxury ultrasonic diffuser, it is also an air humidifier and attractive LED lamp.
Elegant, clean design a perfect complement for the home, studio, spa, or salon.
