New Jersey families have plenty of options for circus fun this Fall when the Vazquez family – which has been presenting quality entertainment for more than 50 years – brings both of their shows to New Jersey. Starting October 16, Circus Vazquez will open in Woodbridge (through November 2) while their smaller, more intimate show, Flip Circus will open in Paramus (ONLY through October 27).

Both feature incredible international circus stars and the production quality that families have come to expect from the Vazquez family. But each show is entirely different.

A few years about when Circus Vazquez was in town I took my son, my aunt, and her daughter to see the show and we enjoyed it so much I wanted more! This time around I brought my sisters and my 2-year-old niece. The show was captivating and they are all full of incredible talent.

Part of the show has a Michael Jackson impersonator which was a surprise and really fun listening to songs we all know and love.

A favorite of mine has to be the clown Chistirrin who does intermittent segments while the stage gets reset for the acts… He is very entertaining and makes the whole family laugh as he includes the audience in most of his jokes.

No outdoor food is allowed but they offer snacks and drinks for purchase such as hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, cotton candy, funnel cake, and drinks. They also have a bunch of circus SWAG like blinking light up toys and stuffed animals.

The show is about 1.5 hours long with a 20-minute intermission allowing time for families to use the bathroom (porta-potties only! since it is a traveling show) and take photos with some mascots for a fee.

Again, I highly recommend going with family of all ages, and there is not a bad seat in the house! The tent is heated, so no need to worry about weather.
