Such an awesome #MamarazziOnline with The Moms and Laura Prepon

You and I as Mothers; sounds like something I’d want to read! Jersey Native Laura Prepon has published her new book and it’s on shelves now. Being a mom of a newborn is so difficult. But being a mom of a newborn, and a 2 1/2 year old, living in NYC must be the most difficult of all.

Laura is handling it with style and grace. She admittedly threw on the sweater she was wearing just for us, and that she is usually sporting a baby scarf shall these days since she spends most of her time breastfeeding her newborn son who’s name she would not spit out no matter how hard we tried!

We talked about her new baby boy and how much she was already prepared for isolation without even knowing it, about her daughter Ella “marking her territory” when new baby brother came home, and about the importance of routine in her home right now.

Limiting screen time is so hard these days when we are “sheltering in place”, but there are some great options like the Non-profit Child Mind Institute to get you and your children through these tough time. They have online times from 10am-4pm weekdays and cover topics for young children, teens, coping skills, special needs and more during this unreal time.

I can’t even lie, any time I see a zoom chat of squares, I immediately think of the Brady Bunch intro. Maybe that’s a good idea for next time!
