What’s up with the 2018 Mazda CX-7 Signature AWD

IMG_20180519_080730_013

Mazda USA came through with the 2018 Mazda CX-9! Check out this Auburn leather interior option with the woodgrain throughout the console.

I’m searching for my next vehicle since my lease is up at the end of the year and it is soooo stressful making the decision. 3rd row, sunroof, and leather interior and this baby fits the bill. Maybe I’ll be back in a Mazda again for my next vehicle? I’ll be checking out this signature version for the week and i’ll keep you guys updated on my thoughts! #DriveMazda

My favorite thing about this model is the interior.  This is perfect for people with young children who still want that snazzy eye catching look.

This leather seating feels more like pleather to me, its much softer and crinkles and might tear more easily, but the color hides stains well while still being flashy and bright.

The Auburn color wouldn’t be complete without the woodgrain details. I liked this so much I checked around my local dealerships for this interior combo but didn’t find any nearby. If you like it, you may have to design your own model on their site if you aren’t lucky enough to have one near you.  But they DO exist!

The front looks like any other Mazda. The grill is huge and flashy and the headlights are bright halogens. There is front camera there but it isn’t visible.

This allows for the follow alert where it tracks how close you are to tailgating the car ahead of you.  This helps because I definitely get distracted by my boys sometimes and hubby says I tend to follow too close.  It’s a good reminder to fall back.

I’m not sure about your experience with 3rd row seats, but mine is pretty narrow.  In the fact that there are only 2 options I’ve noticed in the many vehicles I’ve seen with 3rd row… squishy … or slightly squishy. Never a huge 3rd row aside from my Ford Explorer, the SUVs always make you wish for more leg room but usually its for the kids anyway.

These seats in the back fold down easily, as well as the head rest, so it’s quick getting in and out.  The trunk space isn’t bad for the size of this vehicle either.

20180523_195848.jpgI could fit a bunch of groceries even with the seats up, but other then that probablu just a compact stroller unless the seats are in down position. I guess that’s part of the sacrifice of the extra 3rd row seating.

Some last bonus’ for me with this vehicle is the heated steering wheel.  Perfect for winter weather and not many vehicles have this option!

The 2nd row has its own temperature controls as well as heated seats controlled across the middle row as well which is awesome. (Although crumbs easily get stuck in the holes.. ugg..)

The is alot going on with the console, and I couldn’t test out everything for the week I had this vehicle, but as a previous Mazda owner, I can tell yupi Mazda hasn’t slipped.

The car is packed with great features and didn’t disappoint.  Very smooth ride and we felt safe the whole way any road we were on.

2018 Mazda 3 Vehicle Review

November 2018 was the 2017 NYC Play Fair  and I had to ride in style so #Mazda  hooked me up with this hotrod to take on the voyage across state lines. Ok, ok.. it’s only a 45 minute trip into NYC depending on traffic but I wanted that “dramatic” feel haha! And boy did they hook me up!

I feel like I need to start by introducing you to the safety features of this fine beauty called the 2018 Mazda3.

As a mother of 2 boys, I live and breathe what is best for them and my family,  and being that we are in and out of it alot,  my car isn’t a choice I take lightly.

2018 Mazda Mazda3 Safety Features

  • Driver Air Bag
  • Passenger Air Bag
  • Front Head Air Bag
  • Rear Head Air Bag
  • Front Side Air Bag
  • 4-Wheel ABS
  • 4-Wheel Disc Brakes
  • Brake Assist
  • Electronic Stability Control
  • Daytime Running Lights
  • Child Safety Locks
  • Integrated Turn Signal Mirrors
  • Traction Control
  • Blind Spot Monitor
  • Cross-Traffic Alert

In addition to all of the important features listed above, you can turn on the car length guide that shows you if you’re tailgating the car in front of you which I find extremely useful.  You know us NJ drivers need to get where we’re going quickly and sometimes don’t notice we are tailgating until our husband’s yell at us (LOL!).

The interior of the 2018 Mazda3 is breathtaking.  They hit the nail on the head with this ivory and black combination interior… I mean just look at how stunning this looks.  Would you believe the 2018 starts at just under 20K??

This model came with a sunroof which i l love to keep the window closed but the screen open. Makes November seem like Spring time letting the sun in… when there is sun…

The heated seats, both driver and passenger are a huge bonus and to top it off, a heated steering wheel! ALWAYS GO WITH THE HEATED STEERING WHEEL! You can thank me later.

The interface leaves a little to be desired in my opinion as they artyl haven’t gotten it right.  It’s 2018 and there isn’t a standard navigation package in this model which I found a bit odd with how luxurious everything else was.

Alao,  getting used to the center console controls takes a little but,  but once you get used to it,  it’s fine.

Now onto the exterior. What more can I say,  such a stylish,  family friendly vehicle that works it in all the right places.

Check out this beauty in pearl white with aluminum alloy rims, halogen lights and sleek windows. Did I mention the grill is A-Maz-ingly intimidating yet beautiful? Zoom-Zoom!

See for yourself what the fus is about…

The trunk folds down into the 2nd row for sects space if needed,  but even without doing that I wad amazed at how easily I fit my weekly HUGE grocery trip into it no problem.
